Event Details: Every 25 years a Jubilee is celebrated by Roman Catholics around the world and 2025 has been declared a Jubilee year with the theme Pilgrims of Hope.

The Jubilee is a year-long, grace-filled time when Catholics are called to reflect on their faith. The Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie will recognize this special year with Jubilance 2025, a spectacular event of celebration and thanksgiving on Thursday June 19, at the Roberta Bondar Tent Pavilion, says a media release.

This event is open to all and has free admission.

June 19th Jubilance 2025 Event
Details:

• 5:30 p.m. Gathering at the Pavilion featuring music by Gospel Jam. Free parking available at the Civic Centre after 5 p.m.

• 6 p.m. Jubilee Mass with Bishop Thomas Dowd, priests and the faithful.

• 7:30 p.m. Following mass, there will be a Eucharistic procession from the Pavilion to Precious Blood Cathedral where there will be a final blessing

• 8:30 p.m. Shuttle buses will be available to return to the Pavilion

• 8:45 p.m. Refreshments and a cultural music concert. The concert features music by Flathead Ford and performances from countries around the world.
